This album, deeply rooted in the mariachi tradition, stands as a testament to her artistic identity, a tribute to Mexico's rich musical heritage, and heartfelt homage to her family roots.  

​With her commanding voice, Alexandra captivates audiences by masterfully interpreting timeless melodies from legendary composers such as Juan Gabriel, Manuel Alejandro, and Camilo Sesto, among others.

Inolvidable transcends time as an expression of love, passion, and resilience, celebrating Mexico's rich musical tradition, while artfully preserving the mariachi genre. Composed of ten vibrant songs, including the singles Hoy Por Fin and Que El Mundo Ruede, accompanied by spectacular music videos.

BEHIND THE ALBUM

Inolvidable was created by an amazing team who poured their heart and soul into the project. Every note, chord, and creative moment is infused with passion, bringing to life a truly Inolvidable (unforgettable) album.

The production was led by Marco Antonio Dorantes, Veronica Palacios, and multi-GRAMMY® award-winner, Alberto Jiménez Maeda, who also crafted the album's masterful musical arrangements. Inolvidable maintains the essence of the mariachi genre while infusing it with an air of elegance. The traditional instruments, including the guitarrón, vihuela, guitar, violins, and trumpets, adding a unique depth and richness. Some tracks feature a vibrant mariachi harp, contagious accordion, captivating classical harp, and nostalgic fluegelhorn, introducing layers of intricate melodies and emotional resonance. 

The mixing and mastering are the result of the exceptional work by multi-GRAMMY® award-winner, Salvador Sandoval, who achieved a harmonious, impeccable, and cohesive sound.

The recording was conducted by multi-GRAMMY® award-winner and Latin GRAMMY® award-winner, Pepe Ortega at Elith Sound Labs/Estudios Elith in Mexico City, capturing each interpretation with exceptional clarity and fidelity.​ Pepe is recognized for his work as recording engineer in Alejandro Sanz' album Sirope.

Alexandra takes the listener on a roller coaster of emotions delivering exquisite vocals, and revealing an astonishing artistic maturity. The instrumental execution was in the hands of the most renowned recording musicians within the mariachi genre. Inolvidable is the result of a great collaboration, an album made with immense love and dedication.

​​Recording artist and Latin GRAMMY® voting member, Alexandra Dorantes, emerged as a force in the traditional Mexican music scene with her authentic, powerhouse voice and heartfelt interpretations.

Alexandra's debut album Ni Contigo, Ni Sin Tí revealed her captivating voice through iconic huapangos from the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema, breathtaking boleros, and vibrant rancheras, establishing herself as a standout talent at a young age. In 2024, her second studio album Inolvidable deepened her artistic identity, blending nostalgia and tradition in a heartfelt tribute to her Mexican heritage and family roots.

With multiple releases, including the singles Hoy Por Fin and Que El Mundo Ruede, Alexandra has not only proven her staying power but also positioned herself as one of the leading voices in traditional Mexican music. Recognized as a voting member of The Latin Recording Academy® at just 19, she continues to break boundaries and push her career to new heights, solidifying her place as one of the most promising young artists in the industry.
