Born in San Marcos, Texas in 2003, Alexandra began her musical journey at an early age. She went from being a 3 year old giving her family singing and dancing performances every afternoon to becoming an 8 year old immersed in a world of music taking vocal lessons, learning the violin, and soon after engaging in orchestra, mariachi, choir and opera. Alexandra developed her classical violin training under Dr. Paula Bird; and enriched her instrumental musical experience by participating in the Austin Youth Orchestra (AYO) for 8 ½ years. In middle school, Alexandra also joined choir and mariachi, which she continued into high school. Through strong commitment and sacrifice Alexandra evolved into a persevering young adult, picking herself up time and time again. Mexican regional music ignited a passion in Alexandra, allowing her to make a deep connection to her culture, embracing her heritage, ultimately becoming an ambassador of Mariachi music.

As the winner of 13 national, state and local Mariachi vocal competitions, Alexandra had the amazing opportunity of sharing the stage with great exponents of Mexican Regional music, such as GRAMMY®︎ Award Winner Aída Cuevas, GRAMMY®︎ Award Nominee Mariachi Sol de México de José Hernández, and legendary Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlán. These invaluable experiences solidified Alexandra’s love for Mariachi music. Alexandra received the highest scholastic musical achievement from the State of Texas University Interscholastic League (UIL), awarding her 4 Outstanding Performer Vocalist Gold Medals consecutively from 2018 to 2021; in addition to being selected as a lead vocalist and violinist of the first Texas State Music Association (TMEA) All-State Mariachi Ensemble.

In 2021 Alexandra was one of 30 freshman students admitted into a prestigious program at The University of Texas at Austin, Butler School of Music, where she is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music with a Major in Vocal Performance and a Minor in Arts Management and Administration.
